Privacy

Reading Mymyin requires no account. The site does not run advertising or third-party analytics scripts and sets no cookies for readers who are not signed in. Videos are embedded from YouTube only after you press play; YouTube then applies its own cookie and privacy policies.
Article view counts
When you open an article, your browser sends a short signal so that Mymyin can count how many times each article is read. Only a daily total per article is stored. No cookie, IP address or browser information is kept with it, and the counts are not shown publicly.
Share buttons
The share buttons on articles are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those services until you choose one; from then on, that service's own privacy policy applies. Copying a link happens in your browser.
Member accounts and comments
You can create an account to comment on articles, either with a Google account or with an email address and password. Mymyin stores your email address, the display name shown next to your comments (your Google account name, or the name you choose), the comments you write, and the times they were written. If you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture link of your Google account are also received. Accounts and sign-in are handled by Supabase, which keeps this data on servers in the United States. For security, Supabase also keeps records of sign-in activity, such as IP addresses and browser types, for a limited time.
Comments are public and appear next to your display name. Your display name is not shown anywhere else; if you have no comments on the site, it is not visible to other people. A signed-in member is recognised by a sign-in cookie; it is used only to keep you signed in and to leave the author's own visits out of the article view counts.
You can change your display name or delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your email address and display name. Comments you wrote stay on the site, attributed to a deleted account, so that conversations remain readable; you can delete individual comments before deleting the account if you prefer. Records of sign-in activity may remain for a limited time after the account is deleted.
Server logs
Like any website, the service that delivers Mymyin (Vercel) processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser types in order to deliver pages and protect the service. Mymyin does not use this data to identify readers.
Changes
If Mymyin adds features such as third-party analytics or advertising, this page will be updated before they go live.
